Spades House Rules

Built-in variants for Spades. Each is toggled per table; see the base rules for the standard game these build on.

• Blind Nil: bid nil before looking at your cards, for plus or minus 200.
• Blind 10: a team 100 or more behind may bid ten tricks blind, for plus or minus 200.
• Nilly (casual): one player on each team must bid nil every hand, and a team that falls to -500 loses.
• Mirror (casual): no bidding; your bid is the number of spades you were dealt.

Rules marked casual never change anyone’s rating. Mirror can’t be combined with the others, and Nilly can’t be combined with Blind 10.
