Hearts House Rules

Built-in variants for Hearts. Each is toggled per table; see the base rules for the standard game these build on.

• 3, 4 or 5 Players: play three- or five-handed. Adjusts the deck so it deals evenly, and shortens or lengthens the passing rotation.
• Frank’s Way: three- and five-handed only. Deal the full deck and set aside a hidden kitty instead of removing cards; the winner of the first trick takes it, and it is revealed at scoring.
• Jack of Diamonds (-10): taking the jack of diamonds subtracts 10 points from your hand score, on top of normal heart/queen-of-spades scoring.
• Play to 50 / 75 / 100 / 150: changes the score that ends the game.
