Pass Out (Screw the Dealer)

Standard tables use Stick the Dealer: if bidding comes back to the dealer in round two with everyone else having passed, the dealer isn’t allowed to pass; they have to call a trump suit. This variant turns that off.

With Pass Out active, the dealer can pass like anyone else in round two. If all four players pass in both rounds (nobody orders up the up-card, and nobody calls a suit), the hand is thrown in with no score change, and the deal moves to the next player, who deals a fresh hand.

This is the more old-school, cautious version of Euchre: nobody is ever forced into a trump they don’t want, but hands occasionally get skipped entirely rather than played out.
